Bitumen Ductility Tester

TBT-4508W Bitumen Ductility Tester is used to determine the distance to which it will elongate before breaking when two ends of a briquette specimen of the material are pulled apart at a specified speed and at a specified temperature, which is named as the bitumen ductility, and also it can measure the ductility of the coal tar pitch.

It is a multi-purpose device that integrated asphalt elongation, asphalt force measurement ductility and asphalt elastic recovery capability.

The instrument is composed of sliding drive mechanism, refrigeration heating system, force measuring device and electrical control system with industrial control panel, through its automatic temperature control, frequency conversion speed regulation, stretching length and other operations to complete the test (stretching length data can be remote locked).

1. Industrial touchscreen PC features real-time recording of deformation-tensile force curves and cross-section calculations. It automatically computes average ductility, maximum tensile force, cohesion, peak force ratio, and elastic recovery rate;

2. Equipped with three independent force-measuring units, the system can conduct three parallel tensile tests simultaneously. The tensile length can be remotely locked or digitally recorded via the touchscreen;

3. The water bath utilizes a jacketed design with an external wall circulation loop, ensuring precise temperature control through seamless internal and external dual-circulation;

4. The cooling system employs an imported, fast-cooling, and highly reliable compressor. To eliminate vibration interference, the compressor and the constant-temperature bath are structurally isolated from the main frame;

5. A high-precision inverter provides infinitely variable speed control with two quick-switch speed ranges;

6. Advanced connectivity supports wireless data uploading, as well as RS232 and USB interfaces for data transmission and remote diagnostics;

7. Vibration cleaning function to remove asphalt residues from the testing components;

8. The scale is certified with ILAC-MRA and CNAS marks to ensure metrological traceability.
